Welcome to the Roman Catholic Church of St Francis in Goosnargh.

St Francis Hill Chapel is a beautiful historic ‘barn style’ church set in colourful gardens, it was founded in 1755 and the 16th century Roman Catholic martyr, George Beesley was born on the site on which the church now stands.

St Francis Church, Goosnargh, is a welcoming Catholic parish set in the beautiful Lancashire countryside, with a rich history of faith and community. As Parish Priest, I am delighted to welcome you to our parish website. Here you’ll find details of our Mass times, parish activities, and the many ways our community lives out the Gospel in daily life. Please do get in touch if we can be of any help.

Wishing you every blessing,
Fr. Sony Joseph Kadamthodu
